Tomato Drum Stick Curry Recipe

Tomato Drum Stick Curry is a combination of tomato along with a drum stick, This recipe can be cooked under an hour. Let's look at the ingredients and method for cooking tomato drum stick curry.

Ingredients required for Tomato Drum Stick Curry:
  • Four big sized tomatoes chopped into fine pieces, 
  • One big onion chopped into fine pieces, 
  • 3 big sized drum sticks chopped into normal pieces
  • Half tablespoon chili powder
  • One tablespoon salt
  • Half tablespoon of turmeric powder
  • Half tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • Half tablespoon dhaniya powder
  • Half tablespoon jeera seeds
  • Half tablespoon mustard seeds
  • Half cup of water
  • 1/4 cup of oil
  • 2 tablespoons of dry coconut powder
  • Coriander leaves
Method for preparing Tomato Drum Stick Curry :

Initially take chopped drumsticks and keep them in a bowl of water for 15 minutes. Ow take one bowl and add 1/4 cup of oil into it and add 1/2 tablespoon of mustard seeds and jeera seeds into it, now add finely chopped onions and stir gently. Keep a vessel on top of the bowl and wait for two minutes, now add 1/2 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste and stir gently.

Now add half boiled drum sticks into it and keep vessels for 2 minutes. Now add finely chopped tomato pieces and wait for 5 minutes, meanwhile once you stir gently and keep a vessel on top of the bowl. Now add one and a half tablespoon of chili powder. 1/2 tablespoon of dhaniya powder and stir gently.

Wait for 2 minutes and now add 2 tablespoons of dry coconut powder and wait for 2 minutes and switch off the stove, now garnish with coriander leaves, tasty tomato drum sticks curry is ready to serve, serve with hot rice and it is a very good combination even with chapatis too.
