It was time for our big summer outing. As we brought out our bags and got geared for our BIG SUMMER HOLIDAY, dad announced that we are out of fuel. We all groaned simultaneously.
To add to the bad news, our neighbour sauntered near our house and said, "There is a fuel strike now, you know; no chance of getting fuel at all!"
My brother and I looked at each other in dismay. This couldn't be happening. This is one holiday we look forward to all year. Waiting for us at the forest reserve were our cousins, Tara and Manish.
