The Amazing Miss Shinies
Were walking down the road
When they bumped into a toad.
(And took a minute to see he was human.)
He looked them up and down,
Cocked his eyebrow
And intensely frowned.
(But all they could see was his belly.)
"I have a golden opportunity!"
He clapped his hands and said.
The Shinies didn't seem excited.
(So he said it in a different voice.)
When that didn't work either,
He bent down on his knees
And said, "Say cheese!"
(But the Shinies liked only butter.)
"How would you like to act
In the greatest ad ever made?
You will be handsomely paid!"
(Now, he looked like a hopeful toad.)
