Putting a bolt or cable back on your bike? Don`t forget to lubricate it with a touch of grease. This will help prevent it from getting seized or rusted in place.

Test your brakes by standing over your bike and putting on the front brakes. Try pushing the bike forward, it shouldn`t move. Try the same with the back brakes.

The most important maintenance for the tyres is to keep them pumped up hard; this makes them less vulnerable to punctures.
