 You'll Need:
1 Paper plate
String, about 1m long
Assorted colors of crayons and markers
Wool for the hair
A pair of scissors
Glue
Method:
1. Draw a face on the paper plate.
Cut out eyeholes, and color the face with crayons.
2. Punch one small hole on each side of the face near the edge of the plate. The
holes should be a little higher than the eyeholes.
3. Tie a piece of string from one hole to the other. The string will go around
the back of your head to hold the mask in front of your face.
4. Glue bits of yarn at the top of your mask to create hair for your mask.
Your mask is now ready to be worn!
Note: Instead of a paper plate, you can
also use a piece of cardboard or paper bag.

Original color of the white house
The White House in Washington D.C was originally grey, the colour of the sandstone it was made of. Following a war in 1812 when it was burned by enemy troops, its outside walls were painted white to hide the smoke stains.
